I was working in a series of empty parking lots and one day while printing in the color darkroom I had another test of a portrait next to the parking lot I was printing. I saw the connection: the portrait seemed to be looking into the glassy ground of the parking lot— like a mirror. I call this series Diptychs: stories of internal worlds.
